Friday, May 31, 2013  State education officials say more girls than boys are graduating from high schools in South Carolina. The Anderson Independent-Mail reported that the graduation rate for girls was nearly 80 percent last year. That compares with a 70 percent rate for boys.

Tuesday, February 28, 2012  An self-employed Anderson County man has been charged with tax preparation fraud. He faces twelve counts of preparing fraudulent income tax returns, four counts of tax evasion and one count of obtaining properties by false pretenses.
