Sunday, February 19, 2012  Authorities say a woman is recovering after she was accidentally shot by a deputy during a concealed weapons class in Chesnee.

Thursday, September 29, 2011  Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office responded to a call Thursday morning in the fatal shooting of two farm animals in Woodruff.  Deputies said a llama and donkey had been shot to death in a pasture near Racetrack Road and Brown Kennedy Road, and another donkey had been shot several times but survived.

Monday, September 26, 2011  Authorities say a Cowpens man told Spartanburg County sheriff's deputies that he fired a gun inside his home and thought there was a dead person in the back room after eating bath salts and drinking.

Tuesday, July 05, 2011  Donovan Mcswain says early Monday morning he and his wife were headed west on I-26. Mcswain says as his car approached the Morris Bridge Road overpass he saw someone get out a dark colored van and threw something down. Mcswain says the object shattered his window but says no one was injured. Mcswain says he pulled his car over at a nearby gas station on Hwy 221 where he met another man whose car was also hit.

Tuesday, May 31, 2011  Authorities say a 48-year-old Greer man has been arrested for the second time in a week after making unnecessary calls to 911 and refusing help from paramedics.
