    Monday, April 30, 2012  Gov. Nikki Haley has asked the state inspector general to review all agencies' security systems following the theft of personal information of more than 228,000 Medicaid patients.
  • Tuesday, October 25, 2011  The director of South Carolina's Medicaid agency wants to make it easier for low-income children who already qualify for health care coverage to enroll. Director Tony Keck is seeking an additional $35 million from the state in his 2012-13 budget proposal.

    Sunday, December 12, 2010  Some state Medicaid programs could get the ax this week. On Tuesday, the Department of Health and Human Services will ask the state's financial oversight board to allow it to run a $228 million deficit for the rest of the current budget year.
