The zoo is took orders for its com-poo-st. It is all-natural composted zoo feces; effortlessly produced by the zoo's animals. The compost was given from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Riverbanks Zoo has received the single largest donation in its 37-year history. The more than $860,000 gift was given to the Riverbanks Society, the non-proift that supports the Zoo and Garden.

Toucan Tuesdays are back at Riverbanks Zoo and Garden. Two people can get in for the price of one by bringing two cans of non-perishable food. The donations go to the Harvest Hope Food Bank to help feed hungry families in the Midlands.
