Investors ask time to object to SC fraud recovery
CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- A family which invested $26 million with disgraced South Carolina economist Al Parish has asked a federal judge for more time to object to a proposed recovery plan.
Federal court documents say the Kalpana Patel family of Charleston and New York City was the largest investor with Parish and lost more than $15 million.
