Monday, October 08, 2012  Motorists in the Midlands are seeing slight relief at the pump with a drop just short of 1 cent a gallon over the last week, bringing the average to $3.45, according to ColumbiaGasPrices.com.  The website also noted that the price of gas is nearly 35 cents over last year.

Monday, September 10, 2012  There is good news at pumps.  As little as it might be, the price of a gallon of gas in the Midlands is down just over 1 cent to an average of $3.57 a gallon.

Tuesday, September 04, 2012  Gas prices in the Midlands are in the decline, according to website Columbiagasprices.com, dropping nearly 2 cents a gallon to an average of $3.59.  Conversely, the national average has risen a cent and a half to $3.80 a gallon.

Monday, August 27, 2012  Another week of more pain at the pump, as gas prices in the Midlands have risen nearly 4 cents a gallon to an average of $3.47.  On the national petrol scene, a 3 cent increase brings the average price for a gallon of gas to $3.73, all according to ColumbiaGasPrices.com.

Monday, August 20, 2012  The Midland’s pain at the pump are up a little over 4 cents a gallon to $3.42, according to ColumbiaGasPrices.com.  Nationally, the rise was about 2 cents less than the Midlands, however, the national price remains a heafty $3.70 a gallon.

Monday, August 06, 2012  The price of a gallon of gas has risen nearly 12 cents in the last week to an average of $3.31 a gallon, according to GasBuddy.com.  Nationally, prices have risen just over 9 cents a gallon to $3.60.
