Tuesday, August 30, 2011  A Spartanburg woman told deputies that the iPad she bought from two men in a McDonald's restaurant parking lot turned out to be a block of wood painted black with an Apple logo.  The 22-year-old woman told authorities the men first told her they were selling the iPads they bought in bulk for $300, but agreed to sell her one for $180 when she said that was all the money she had.
