The National Weather Service Dopplar Radar has indicated tornadic rotation near Shoulder Bone, Ga., moving east at 40 mph. A tornado warning remains in effect for that area.

Monday, January 24, 2011  Special operations trainees with the U.S. Marine Corps out of Camp Lejeune, NC will be doing training exercises in Edgefield, Saluda, McCormick, Greenwood and Abbeville counties next week.  Starting February 1, residents may see large groups of military members in full combat dress conducting simulation training drills similar to what they may come across in battle overseas.
