Wednesday, February 01, 2012  More than 1,000 police officers and hundreds of others have gathered in Aiken for the funeral for a South Carolina officer killed last weekend.

Monday, January 30, 2012  A judge has denied bond for the man charged with shooting an Aiken police officer to death. Funeral arrangements have been scheduled for Master Cpl. Sandra "Sandy" Rogers for Wednesday at the University of South Carolina Aiken Convocation Center. Burial is taking place at Historic Bethany Cemetery in downtown Aiken.

Monday, January 30, 2012  The 26-year-old Joshua Tremaine Jones is charged with killing a South Carolina officer and is expected to appear before a magistrate judge on Monday in Aiken according to Magistrate Judge Tracey Carroll. Funeral arrangements have been scheduled for Master Cpl. Sandra "Sandy" Rogers for Wednesday at the University of South Carolina Aiken Convocation Center. Burial is taking place at Historic Bethany Cemetery in downtown Aiken.
