Wednesday, December 07, 2011  South Carolina's seismic stress continued early Wednesday morning as a 2.2 magnitude quake struck Summerville.

Wednesday, November 16, 2011  A cold front is heading torwards South Carolina and will bring a threat for strong to severe storms, along with cooler temperatures.

Tuesday, July 05, 2011  In additiona to Southeast Georgia wildfires impacting our weather in the Midlands, storms are popping up and pushing through the area.

Thursday, May 19, 2011  The National Ocean and Atmospheric Administration released its forecast for the 2011 season Thursday.  Scientists say as many as 18 named tropical storms may develop. Six to 10 of those could strengthen into hurricanes with top winds of at least 74 mph. Three to six could become major hurricanes, with maximum winds of 111 mph and up.

Saturday, April 16, 2011  A storm that rocked much of the nation over the past few days is now impacting parts of the Midlands.  A line of strong to severe thunderstorms is working its way through the southern and eastern Midlands.  Heavy rain, damaging winds and a tornado were reported with this line stretching from Orangeburg to Lee county.

Wednesday, December 01, 2010  The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for parts of the Midlands.  WACH Fox Weather Anchor Justin Kier says all the ingredients are in place for isolated severe weather Tuesday.
