Thursday, September 22, 2011  Two of the juveniles accused in the June beating of 18-year-old Carter Strange in Columbia's Five Points pleaded guilty for their roles in the crime Thursday.  The 16 and 17-year-old boys pled guilty to misprison of a felony.  Investigators say the two boys, along with the additional two who pled guilty earlier this week, did not participate in the actual physical assault.  Instead, they waited at their cars until the beating was over.

Tuesday, September 20, 2011  Three of the five juveniles accused in the June Five Points beating of 18-year-old Carter Strange will remain in jail until their trials.

Thursday, August 18, 2011  City of Columbia police are investigating another bloody beating in the Five Points area. At least one witness said the suspects washed the victim’s blood off in the Five Points fountain.
