Friday, May 20, 2011  Earlier this week, Richland County investigators say 20-year-old Quintin Wallace Jr. turned himself in after being wanted for firing shots into a car that was said to have his 19-year-old pregnant girlfriend and her 3-year-old brother inside.  After further questioning, deputies found that Shakira Lyles had lied about being in the car.  She is now charged with a felony of filing a false police report.

Monday, April 20, 2009  (WACH) Aiken Public Safety Investigators have arrested Rikki Lynn Halavonich, 34, of Charleston, charging her with feloniously filing a false police report.  Halavonich claimed to have been kidnapped and sexually assaulted in an unknown Aiken location last week.

Thursday, December 11, 2008  A South Carolina county magistrate has been arrested after authorities say he admitted filing a false police report saying someone had threatened his life.
