DARE officers and school resources officers picked up supplies at the department that will help them teach DARE programs in schools. The Drug Abuse Resistance Education is a series of classroom lessons that teaches children about drug prevention, decision making skills, and avoiding high-risk behavior. Friday, officers were given boxes of supplies including workbooks, certificates, and other items they will use to teach children DARE.
