Friday, August 26, 2011  DARE officers and school resources officers picked up supplies at the department that will help them teach DARE programs in schools. The Drug Abuse Resistance Education is a series of classroom lessons that teaches children about drug prevention, decision making skills, and avoiding high-risk behavior. Friday, officers were given boxes of supplies including workbooks, certificates, and other items they will use to teach children DARE.

Thursday, May 05, 2011  The Department of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Services is teaming up with local loaw enforcement to help prevent underage drinking.  During the "Out of their Hands Campaign" in April officials launched safety checkpoints and shoulder tap operations.
