Upstate nuke plant has issue after digital switch

Monday, June 13, 2011 Officials say a South Carolina nuclear plant that recently switched from analog to digital controls had problems while powering up after a scheduled outage. Sandra McGee of Duke Energy said Monday that operators Friday noticed a problem Friday with an instrument that reads power levels on one of the units at the Oconee Nuclear Station.
