Power outage causes sewage to leak from Midlands treatment plant

Tuesday, April 05, 2011 The power was restored around 1:30 p.m. and treatment has resumed, but DHEC warns anyone, including pets, to say out of downstream waters of the Saluda River and Twelve Mile Creek because of anticipated high levels of bacteria coming from the Lexington plant.
