Thursday, February 16, 2012  Columbia police say they have arrested a fourth suspect in a string of pit bull thefts from the Columbia Animal Shelter. A 13-year-old boy turned himself in to at police headquarters Thursday.

Monday, February 13, 2012  Police have arrested two teenagers suspected of stealing pit bulls from the Columbia animal shelter.  They are still looking for two more people in what's being investigated as a possible dogfighting ring.
