Monday, November 26, 2012  Along with the record breaking high, gas prices in the Midlands have risen 5 cents over the past week to an average of $3.15 a gallon.  The national average however, has remained stable over the last 7 days at $3.43, according to the gas website.

Wednesday, November 21, 2012  The motor club keeping an eye on the highways across the Carolinas says there will be a few more motorists on the road for Thanksgiving because of a significant drop in the price of gasoline.

Tuesday, November 20, 2012  Gas prices in the Midlands have fallen and risen over the seven days, settling 3 cents higher per gallon, averaging $3.09 a gallon.

Tuesday, September 04, 2012  Gas prices in the Midlands are in the decline, according to website Columbiagasprices.com, dropping nearly 2 cents a gallon to an average of $3.59.  Conversely, the national average has risen a cent and a half to $3.80 a gallon.

Monday, August 13, 2012  Another week, and another rise in gas prices, as 3.1 cents bring the price of a gallon of gas to $3.37 in Columbia.  Including the change, the average price of gas is about 3 cents lower than it was a year ago, according to ColumbiaGasPrices.com.
