Carbures LLC is putting its first American facility in Greenville County and creating at least 50 jobs over the next five years. Officials announced Wednesday the maker of carbon fiber composite structures expects to invest $6.5 million on its new design and manufacturing facility. Construction on the 40,000-square-foot plant should begin soon with an opening date in spring 2012.
