A man charged in connection with dog fighting in Richland County more than a year ago will spend one year in jail, according to Sheriff Leon Lott.

Richland County officials are hoping for your help in the recovery of pit bulls rescued from a dog fighting ring in September. Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott says a foundation has been set up to help assist and offset the costs of caring for the dogs.
