On Monday, October 15th, a man about between 20 and 30 years old, standing about 5feet, 7 inches tall walked in to the First Palmetto State Bank at 3932 Forest Drive. The man was wearing a gray sports coat blue dress slacks, and a blue bandana over his face. He used a small caliber pistol to force bank employees to give him money. He then fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

According to Lt Don Florence, At around 10:30 Monday morning 3 males approx. 25-35 years old, wearing masks, and brandishing handguns entered the business and demanded money. The suspects took an undetermined amount of cash from the business before exiting the rear of the building. An employee at the business fired a gunshot at the suspects as they were fleeing. The suspects were last seen leaving the scene in a small black compact vehicle south on Miller Rd.
