Sandra "Sandy" Rogers for Wednesday at the University of South Carolina Aiken Convocation Center. Burial is taking place at Historic Bethany Cemetery in downtown Aiken.

Monday, January 30, 2012  The 26-year-old Joshua Tremaine Jones is charged with killing a South Carolina officer and is expected to appear before a magistrate judge on Monday in Aiken according to Magistrate Judge Tracey Carroll. Tuesday, September 13, 2011  Investigators said 20-year-old Dominique Fortenberry of Summerville came into Porky Bradberry's Jewelry around 1 p.m. Monday, set down a purse he was carrying and pointed a gun at the owner.  Aiken police say the men shot at each other. The owner was hit in the arm, while Fortenberry was shot in the face.
