Congratulations Ashley Cohen-Burnell, you're September's Teen to WACH!
Ashley Cohen-Burnell, a senior at Richland Northeast High School, was selected by LRADAC, the Behavioral Health Center of the Midlands and WACH FOX 57 as the September 2008 Teen to WACH! At Richland Northeast, Ashley’s achievements are apparent. She has maintained a 4.0 average throughout her high school career and is involved in many clubs and organizations both on and off campus. She is currently involved with Richland Northeast’s Student Senate. Ashley was a member of the marching band, the Junior Class president and Key Club president. Ashley is also involved with the National Honor Society and the Palmetto Center of Arts Program. She is dedicated to her community and passionate about helping others.
Ashley has seen the effects of drugs and alcohol on family members and her friend’s family members and has vowed to do her part to help the community while remaining drug free herself. She is devoted to helping others, while continuing to be active within her school and maintaining her grades!
