COLUMBIA (WACH / AP) -- Gov. Nikki Haley held an Easter egg hunt at the Governor's Mansion for children who have spent time in the hospital.

Haley invited patients from Palmetto Health Children's Hospital for this years Easter egg.

Monday afternoon patients, parents and volunteers searched and collected Easter eggs all over the mansion grounds.

The Governors Easter egg hunt was started in 1986 by the wife of Governor Dick Reily and has been a popular event every year.
