RICHLAND COUNTY (WACH)-  A gunshot wound is believed to have killed a woman found burning in woods in Northeastern Richland County.

Around 2pm Thursday a woman was found burning in a wooded area in the 3200 block of Screaming Eagle Road.

Richland County Coroner Gary Watts said the woman is African American in the age range of 20 to 35 years old. She stood between  5 feet  eight inches tall and weighed about 120 to 135 lbs.  Watts said the woman was also 21 weeks pregnant.

Richland County Sheriff's Deputies continue to investigate.
