ROCK HILL, S.C. (AP) -- Members of a South Carolina chapter of the Hell's Angels motorcycle club are set to go on trial for charges accusing them of drug sales, armed robberies, prostitution and other crimes.

A June raid across South Carolina and North Carolina led to the arrests of 20 people under allegations of cocaine and narcotics conspiracies and violence centered on the Rock Hill chapter.

The Charlotte Observer reports that South Carolina U.S. Attorney Bill Nettles says members of the gang set to go on trial on Monday were involved in drug and weapons trafficking, arson and money laundering.

At least three of the people arrested in June already have pleaded guilty, including Rock Hill chapter vice president Dan Bifield and his wife. They have not been sentenced.
