A Columbia man was arrested by agents with the State Law Enforcement Division and charged in connection with a 2005 sex act on a child.

COLUMBIA (WACH) - A Columbia man was arrested Friday by agents with the State Law Enforcement Division and charged in connection with a 2005 sex act on a child.
Authorities say Hammond Mcqueen Love, 46, is charged with one count of committing a lewd act upon a child under the age of 16.
According to the arrest warrant, the incident occurred in November of 2005 on the campus of Clemson University.
The warrant states that Love is accused of inappropriately touching a 13-year-old when he was 39 years old.
Love was booked at the Clemson University Police Department.
SLED officials say the investigation was conducted at the request of the Clemson University Police Department.
Love faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
