Forest Acres police seek suspect in theft, credit card fraud

FOREST ACRES, SC (WACH) - The Forest Acres Police Department is investigating a case of theft and credit card fraud.

Lt. Bryant Hinson with the Forest Acres Police Department says a woman shopping at Publix on Forest Drive walked away from her purse, which was in the shopping cart, for a few seconds when her belongings were stolen.

Minutes later, the victim's credit card was being used.

A suspect in the crime was captured on video at several locations attempted to use the victim's credit cards.
