COLUMBIA, SC (WACH) - Two years before a fatal double-shooting in an Irmo neighborhood, thousands of dollars in jewelry were reported stolen from the victim's home, according to an incident report.

In March 2010, Tammy Parker, then 42, reported the theft of approximately $20,000 in jewelry from her 12 Tackeria Court in the upscale Ascot Estates neighborhood.

According to the report, deputies arrived at the home shortly after 4pm on March 13, 2010 after Parker called authorities. Parker told deputies that someone kicked in her back door and stole a "large quantity" of jewelry.  A date on the report indicates the break-in happened a day earlier.

The responding deputy noted damage to the screen door and back door of the home and wrote in the report that the "house appeared rummaged through."

At the time of the report, Parker could not recall exactly what pieces of jewelry were taken but gave investigators an estimated value of $20,000 and said she would call back with a detailed list.

Richland County Sheriff's Department spokesman Deputy Curtis Wilson told WACH Fox News Monday that he was not aware of an arrest being made in that case.

Last Friday afternoon, Parker and Bryan Capnerhurst, 46, were shot dead in her Tackeria Court home. Investigators say Parker's husband was home at the time and he has been questioned in the case.

According to authorities, Capnerhurst was invited to the home to discuss some business. No charges have been filed at this point and the case is still under investigation.
