COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) -- Columbia police have found a shovel and bloody blanket.

Investigators are not sure if these items are connected to the disappearance of missing one-and-a -half-year-old Amir Jennings.

A search warrant shows police went to 22 year old Zinah Jenning's home and her father told police he saw his daughter in the backyard with a shovel around the time Amir went missing.

Police found the shovel in Zinah Jenning's home, and a blood stained blanket and clothes in the back of her car.

Police Chief Randy Scott says investigators don't know if the blood came from the boy or from his mother who was involved in a Christmas Eve wreck.

The shovel and blanket have been sent to the State Law Enforcement Division for analysis.

The toddler, was last seen with his mother around Thanksgiving..

Investigators have questioned Jenning's repeatedly, but she has continued to give officials inconsistent information.

Jennings has been arrested and charged with unlawful conduct towards a child.

Jennings is being held on a $150,000 bond at the Richland County jail, and it wasn't clear if she had an attorney.

Jennings' mother says relatives are planning to issue statements about the case on Thursday.
