Monday, September 10, 2012  There is good news at pumps.  As little as it might be, the price of a gallon of gas in the Midlands is down just over 1 cent to an average of $3.57 a gallon.

Tuesday, September 04, 2012  With unemployment above 8 percent, it is hard to believe there may be a day when there are more jobs than people to fill them.  According to Lori Cook, who sat down with Tyler Ryan on Good Day, that day may be less than a decade away.

Thursday, August 30, 2012  In an effort to have continue the message of awareness about diabetes, citing seven million people who have diabetes and don’t know it, and generate much needed money for research, the American Diabetes Association, the Columbia Police Department, and the Frye Foundation have partnered for the first “Gettin’ Cocky for Diabetes Football Benefit.”

Wednesday, August 29, 2012  The City of Columbia has issued a boil water advisory for the Flora Springs Subdivision, advising customers to “vigorously boil their water for at least one (1) full minute prior to drinking or cooking.”  Also, any ice made from water that has not been boiled should not be used for drinking purposes.
