Tuesday, May 17, 2011  Gov. Nikki Haley isn't pleased with comments coming from former House Speaker Newt Gingrich about his stance on a proposed national Medicare plan.  Gingrich, a GOP primary candidate for the 2012 president race, criticized the plan proposed by Rep. Paul Ryan that would replace the current Medicare system with a voucher structure.  Gingrich called it a "radical change" and "right-wing social engineering," on NBC's Meet the Press Sunday.

Monday, October 04, 2010  The political action committee of South Carolina Citizens for Life has endorsed Republican Nikki Haley for governor.  Haley's campaign announced the endorsement Monday, days after two GOP activists questioned her vote last year on a proposed change to an abortion bill.
