COLUMBIA (WACH) - The Colonial Life Arena will present two super hot jam bands this Friday night.

If you're looking to spend some quality time with the Zamily, then the arena is the place to be. The Georgia bred, six-piece Zac Brown Band will be headlining, and fans are already feeling it. Wildly popular with nine consecutive No. 1 hits, these guys have been on the fast track for the past three years since the release of their double-platinum debut The Foundation.

Since then the band, together for over 13 years, has been on the move and at the top of Billboard charts. Bring your friends! Bring the whole jam Zamily! This is a guaranteed good time.

The show starts at 7 p.m. with opening act Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews with Orleans Avenue. Straight out of "N'awlins," this band came out swinging with their debut album Backatown in 2010, and recently played at the White House for the 'Red, White, and Blues' event last month.

Well known in the musicfest circuit, Trombone Shorty delivers a highly energenic sound he has dubbed "Supafunkrock," and will most assuredly have you up and on your feet (perhaps even inspire the shaking of the boo-tay).  If you're a fan of a bumping horn section, check out this show. If you haven't seen them yet, it's a must.

Tickets are on sale now and range from $32 to $64.50. Parking lot "A" gates will open at 10 a.m., which is perfect for the southern tailgater in all of us. Parking costs $20 per car, cash only. For more information call the Colonial Life Arena box office at 803-576-9200.
