COLUMBIA (WACH) -- American Idol fans get excited.  The season 10 idol is set to be crowned Wednesday night.

The final two contestants are 16-year-old Lauren Alaina and 17-year-old Scotty McCreery.

This year's finalists are the youngest pair to compete for American Idol's top prize.
