COLUMBIA, SC -- The recent death of the King of Pop has left people scrambling to purchase Michael Jackson memorabilia.  At local music store Manifest, manager William Browder has a hard time keeping Jackson's albums on the shelves.

"Things have been crazy here at Manifest since his death. The next morning, there were already 20 people waiting outside screaming, 'Where is your Michael Jackson section?'"

Jackson's "Thriller" is the best-selling album of all time with 45 million sold worldwide and earning the King eight Grammies. Now people are running to purchase "Thriller", and some are even trying to cash in.

"People are trying to sell us their albums and see how much we will pay for it we are getting all kinds of questions about Jackson," says Browder.

Many disappointed shoppers are having a hard time getting their favorite Jackson album because of his sudden death, but Browder expects to briefly line his shelves with Jackson's music in the coming days.

"Everybody's trying to get it right now. We will have them on Monday or Tuesday, and it will be flying out of here."
