Make plans now to join us on Saturday, August 1, for what is certain to be the coolest suds sippin’ safari in South Carolina! From 7 until 9:30pm, guests ages 21 and up can walk through the Zoo with their souvenir tasting glass, sampling from specialty domestic, import and microbrews.Concession stands will be open around the park with a variety of food and select brews available for purchase. A barbeque buffet complete with ribs, pulled pork, bb-q chicken and the fixins’ will be served. Reservations for the buffet must be made by July 24, and Brew tickets need to be purchased prior to making these reservations. Tickets for the event and the buffet are available at www.riverbanks.org.
Riverbanks Zoo & Garden encourages responsible drinking. All guests must present valid photo identification upon entering the park. No one under 21 will be admitted. Checker Yellow Cab will be standing by for all participants from 7 to 10pm. Riverbanks Zoo and Garden will pay the first $10 of fare destined for private residences or hotels within Richland and Lexington counties.
