RICHLAND COUNTY (WACH) - The Richland County Coroner has identified the man who was killed in a single-vehicle crash Monday morning.

Coroner Gary Watts says Robert B. Frantz, Jr., 51, of Columbia was killed when his vehicle left the road and struck a tree. He was wearing a seatbelt.

State Highway Patrol troopers say Frantz was travelling eastbound on I-26 near mile marker 93 around noon Monday when the crash occurred.

The investigation into the collision is ongoing.
