The Palmetto Health Foundation’s mission is to “promote awareness of Palmetto Health’s programs and services and to strengthen the quality of health care for the people served by Palmetto Health through the use of the highest standards of philanthropy.”

There are many ways to donate via the Palmetto Health Foundation, and your generous support can help patients of many kinds:

-- Children. The foundation helps raise money for the Children’s Hospital, through projects such as CAMP KEMO, the Children’s Miracle Network, the Festival of Trees and more. The Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital includes a pediatric intensive-care unit, a cystic fibrosis center, an emergency department, and a center for cancer and blood disorders.

-- Cancer patients. The Palmetto Health Cancer Centers and its Breast Center offer comprehensive cancer diagnosis and treatment. Services include research, prevention and control programs, as well as advanced technology and care that focuses on both physical and emotional needs.

-- Hospice patients. For more than 30 years, Palmetto Health Hospice has been offering support for hospice patients and their families. Donations have provided assistance with utility bills and rent, as well as medication. “From simple companionship to relief for exhausted family members, the mission of hospice remains the same -- to help relieve pain, fear and loneliness and to support the family.”
