John Baker John Baker is a native of Columbia. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1977. He joined the firm in 1979. His civic involvement locally includes service on the boards of the March of Dimes, and the Richland County Public Library in Columbia. He also is active with the Columbia Jewish Day School, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and The Jewish National Fund. John proudly serves on the National Campaign Cabinet for the State of Israel Bonds, and Is a newly elected member of the National Council for AIPAC, the American-Israel Public Affairs Committee. He is married to the former Marcie Stern of Columbia, and they have a daughter, Gabrielle, who attends College in Washington, DC. Mr Baker is a member of the shopping center trade group, ICSC, and is a member of the Champions Club at the National Baseball Hall of Fame, in Cooperstown, NY. Steven M. Anastasion Steven M. Anastasion is a graduate of George Washington University (BA 1970) and The University of South Carolina School of Law (JD 1975). He is a member of Salvation Army Advisory Board, Columbia Museum of Art Board of Directors, Columbia River Alliance Board, and Columbia Jewish Federation Board, and Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Prior to joining Baker and Baker in 1995, Mr. Anastasion was a partner in the Columbia law firm of Callison Tighe and Robinson.
