COLUMBIA (WACH) - A man accused of killing an Marion man at a USC football game in 2010 was found not guilty of manslaughter, but was convicted on another charge and is headed to prison.

Curtis Simms was found not guilty on the charge of manslaughter, but was convicted of Breach of Peace of a High and Aggravated Nature.  Simms was sentenced to five years in prison and three years probation.

Simms was charged in connection of the death of 20-year-old Allen Gasque.

In October of 2010, Richland County Sheriff's spokeswoman Monique Mack said the fight started a block from Williams-Brice Stadium as a road rage incident. Witnesses said the fight developed after a truck cut off a car trying to leave a parking lot.

Coroner Gary Watts says Gasque fell or was pushed under a passing truck and died from head injuries.
