Authorities in Dorchester County have arrested 12 people and are looking for four others as the result of a probe into illegal drug and liquor sales in the county.
SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- Authorities in Dorchester County have arrested 12 people and are looking for four others as the result of a probe into illegal drug and liquor sales in the county.
Search warrants were issued and the arrests were made Tuesday as authorities searched two adjacent properties in the county The three-month investigation by the Dorchester County Metro Narcotics Unit, called Operation Sandlot, included confidential informants and controlled drug buys.
The charges ranged from illegal sales of cocaine to possession of marijuana, illegal liquor sales and an open container violation.
