COLUMBIA (WACH)- Are you a Gamecock looking to get married on someone else's tab?
A wedding planning class at USC might have the deal for you. If you can get married on April 21, and don't mind letting some college kids doing all the planning you could win a wedding package. students from a Hotel Restaurant and Tourism class will plan everything from the bride's dress and bridal party attire, cake, reception and honeymoon.
The catch? The lucky couple has to allow the class to give up all planning to the planning class. Eligible couples must also have ties to the university meaning the couples are either students, related to a faculty or staff member, or an alum of USC.
To enter, each couple must submit a 500-word essay or send a three minute long video outlining why they should get a free wedding.
Anyone who is interested better hurry. The deadline for applying is February 10. The winning couple will be announced Feb 13. There will be three runners-up.
