COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- Officials say a pharmaceutical company is creating about 300 new jobs with an investment in Clarendon County.

Gov. Nikki Haley and Commerce Department officials said Wednesday that Spirit Pharmaceuticals was building a new facility in Clarendon County, investing a total of about $12.2 million.
