The Richland County Sheriff's Department is looking for three people who robbed a senior citizen. The attack happened at the Woodfield Park Community on Sunday.
A ninety-two year old victim was attacked and robbed on his car port by three black men. Sheriff Leon Lott says the trio engaged the victim by asking if he needed lawn care services. Sheriff Lott says after the victim declined services, one of the males lunged at the victim putting him in a tight hold and grabbed his wallet from his rear pocket. The trio then left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
Investigators also add, a white female started a conversation with the victim moments earlier noticing the victim had a sum of cash in his wallet. Investigators believe she also played a part in the victim being robbed.
