Columbia, SC (February 12, 2013): Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Columbia, S.C. announces its 7th Annual McDonald’s of Camden Sporting Clays Tournament on Saturday, April 6, 2013. The Lewis Class tournament will be held at Hermitage Farm Shooting Sports in Camden, SC, owned and operated by Joe Cantey, world champion clay shooter.Shooters will receive 100 rounds of ammo as they rotate through 14 sporting clay stations. All participants will receive a shooter’s gift bag, delicious food and beverages, and the opportunity to participate in a huge silent auction featuring shotguns, sporting clay accessories and hunting packages. Prizes will be awarded to winning shooters in each class.Last year’s tournament attracted more than 75 shooters from North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia and helped raise more than $19,000 for RMHC of Columbia, SC. This year, we anticipate more than 100 shooters will join us, and we encourage interested participants to pre-register at www.rmhcofcolumbia.org. Day-of registration will be available from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. and shooters will take the course from Noon to 3 p.m.About Ronald McDonald House Charities of Columbia, SCEach year, more than 350 families seek shelter and solace in one or both of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Columbia, SC’s cornerstone programs, the Ronald McDonald House and the Ronald McDonald Family Room.
