SUNRISE SCHOOL OF DENTAL ASSISTING OFFERS 13-WEEK PROGRAM

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of dental assistants is expected to grow by 31 percent from 2010 to 2020. This is a much faster rate than the average for all occupations. Sunrise School of Dental Assisting offers a 13-week, accelerated training program for Dental Assistants. This training prepares individuals for entry level positions in a field with career pathway potential. Successful graduates of the program are will earn a certificate of Dental Assisting as well as a radiology certification and be immediately eligible for a variety of in-demand positions. Although a job is not guaranteed after graduation, job placement assistance is provided. In addition to classroom training, students will also participate in lab training for a total of 78 clock hours. To apply all you need is a high school diploma or equivalent degree, and a demonstrated interest in the dental assisting profession. Orientation for the summer training program is on June 21 and the first class will be held on June 26. Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9 p.m. at 3000 Two Notch Rd. Columbia, SC 29204. The cost of tuition is $3,295 which includes a workbook and the use of textbooks and lab materials.
