Home improvement projects that really pay off: According to Scott Gray from DesigningOnline.com, home improvement projects can add aesthetic appeal and increase the value of your home. There are many simple things you can do to spice up your old décor, think of altering your existing color scheme or adding some stylish accessories. But if you really want to bring back the bucks you spend on remodeling, focus on your time and energy on the kitchen or bathroom. Read Scott Gray’s article here.
Summer Decorating: Kathleen Peters from KatieDid Design gives us great tips on how to bring the “outdoors in” and the “indoors out” when decorating your house for summer. First and foremost, you should have “breeze and sunshine” in mind, then arrange your furniture and accessories to reflect those ideas. If you have dark colors on your walls, try to lighten them up with a new coat of paint. Slipcovers, flowers and table runners can serve to add light touches to dark furniture. Kathleen also tells us to bring the indoors out by creating an outdoor room with seating, tables, accessories and lighting. Read Kathleen’s article here.
