Shyann Malone joined the WACH Fox News team as an anchor/reporter in January 2012.

She comes to us from WXVT in Greenville, MS, where she was the 5 o’clock evening news anchor/reporter. One of the most memorable moments of her career was covering the historic floods of the Mississippi River.

Originally from Kalamazoo, Michigan, Shyann received her undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University in Ohio, where she excelled as a member of the volleyball team.

Deciding to follow a passion she had since high school, Shyann left her career in pharmaceutical sales to pursue a new journey in broadcast journalism. She launched her career working as an intern for WSB in Atlanta.

Shyann is excited to be a part of the Midlands community. Outside of work, she enjoys exercising, entertaining, watching sports, and spending time with family.
