Kara Durrette joined the WACH FOX News team in December 2011 as the Interactive Managing Editor. Kara comes to us from Tampa, Fla. where she managed interactive media platforms for the Tampa Sports Authority. Kara is thrilled to be back in the Midlands. As a proud Gamecock, she has a special place in her heart for the Columbia community. Kara graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Visual Communications and a minor in Media Arts. In her free time, Kara hangs out with her husband and their two dogs.
