Kevin Pazdernik joined the WACH Fox newsroom as Senior Producer in November 2009, was promoted to Assignment Editor in April 2010, and promoted to News Director in May 2012.

Kevin began his news career in his native Wisconsin before moving to South Carolina in 2006 as a news producer for another Columbia television station.

He then served for two years as a communications advisor to the S.C. Governor's office until joining WACH Fox News.

When he’s not in the newsroom, Kevin enjoys biking, photography, and traveling around the Palmetto State. He lives with his wife and their cat Mayumi in West Columbia.

Heavy rains soaked the capital city Friday morning leading to problems for those trying to get around town.

A truck hauling sheets of glass flipped on Interstate 77 north bound at Bluff Road Wednesday morning during peak traffic.  The accident blocked several lanes for hours as broken glass was cleaned from the roadway.

Columiba Police arrested a 44 year-old man they say was selling heroin out of a room at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital.
